Hi, I’m Helen Mantell, and I’m delighted you’re here!

I grew up in West Cornwall in the 80s with a lot of freedom to spend time outside. Most of it was spent out on the land with dogs and horses, often alone, moving through places that felt alive long before I had any language for why.

That shaped me and opened a deep connection with the landscape, far more than I realised at the time.

In my mid-twenties, I became seriously ill. Everything slowed down, and the things I’d been able to filter out or ignore became much harder to manage. Sensitivity, awareness, and experiences I couldn’t explain became louder, and there was no real way to push them aside.

What followed wasn’t a quick shift or a neat turning point. I spent years immersed in my own healing, trying to understand what I was experiencing and how to work with it properly.

That led me into formal training in clinical hypnotherapy, trauma-informed coaching, EFT, naturopathic nutrition and other therapeutic approaches.

Alongside that, I trained extensively in energy healing and spiritual practice. I was lucky enough to be apprenticed in energy medicine and wisecraft with a Cornish wisewoman, which shaped my work in a very different way.

I also had a series of direct experiences with the unexplained that I wasn’t prepared to dismiss. That took me further into this work, including being taken under the wing of a local, West Cornish cunning man who specialised in spirit release.

That work stayed with me.

It led to a deep interest in restoring harmony, not only within a person, but within the spaces people live and work in, and in the land itself.

Over time, these different strands came together.

My work is shaped by clinical understanding, long-term practice, and a way of working that is rooted in place, relationship, and direct experience. Cornwall is part of that. The land here, and the traditions that belong to it, inform how I pay attention and how I work.

I now work with individuals, as well as training and supervising practitioners who want to develop their capacity to work at depth.

Most of the people I work with already know there is more going on than they’ve been able to fully get hold of so far. What matters is whether something is able to shift, and how that shift is held.

Outside of my work, I’m usually back on the land, at ancient sites, or at home cooking and reading. It’s all part of the same rhythm.

Workshops & Immersive Experiences

Group spaces where energy, intuition and ritual are worked with directly.

Some sessions work with what’s stuck. Others open things up and give you a way to work with it yourself.

1-1 Support

Supervision

For people who are ready to work with change in a deliberate, grounded way.

One-to-one work grounded in energy, ritual, and relationship with the unseen, and how that shapes your life in real terms.

We take what’s present and work with it directly, staying with it long enough for something to shift and for that shift to hold.

For practitioners who want to develop their work with clarity, depth, and professional grounding.

Supervision for energy healers and therapists at different stages of practice, including those integrating energy work alongside counselling or other clinical modalities.

Sessions are a space to bring your work, think clearly about what’s happening, and develop your capacity to hold it well.

I bring over two decades of clinical and energy-based experience, alongside my work as an IPHM-accredited training provider.

How I Work

wearing a gray hat with a feather is bending over to look at a collection of items arranged on a tiled floor. The items include tarot cards, crystals, a copper bowl, a bundle of herbs, and a small cauldron. The setting appears to be around a fireplace with decorative tiles.

This work is for people who can feel that something isn’t fully resolved, even when it’s been understood.

There’s often a sense that things sit just out of reach, or that they shift for a while and then return.

What matters here is whether something can actually move.

The work goes into the places that don’t tend to shift on their own. It’s held steadily, with enough structure for it to be worked with properly, and enough space for it to unfold in its own time.

It draws on long-term clinical training, energy work, and a way of working that is shaped by ritual, relationship, and the land itself.

This work is best suited to people who feel able to engage with it in a steady way.

You don’t need to arrive with a clear explanation. We work with what’s there.

Across the different ways I offer this work, the focus stays the same.

Something shifts, and you’re able to stay with that shift in a way that holds.
